To whomever it may concern..Letter 1- To younger self

 Dear Younger Me,

I hope everything is going well. Well, if it’s not, enjoy it. No, I have not gone mad—maybe I’ve just matured. Or if being mature sounds like this, then yes, I am. I’ve learned something new: imperfection isn’t bad.

I know people around you shout at you when you don’t do things perfectly, but here’s a little secret—they cannot do perfect things all the time either. They don’t always say the perfect things or listen perfectly to everyone. And yes, there’s hardly anyone who is perfect.

But let me tell you this: the honest feeling of wanting to be what you want to be is beautiful and full of spirit. It may not be “perfect” according to others, but what you define for yourself is perfect. You will fail at times, and that too is perfect. A time will come when you feel low about yourself, and that’s perfect as well.

I just want to tell you: find peace. For you, peace may mean working for what you want. It may be music, food, or whatever (even perfection). You will be what you want to be—you already are! Embrace those struggles. Understand that people change (don’t be surprised; they do).

Today, I want you to make a note of this: please find peace among imperfections. Don’t wait for the perfect life as you imagine it—there is no such thing. Whatever you are doing and whomever you are with is perfect. Or, to call it perfect, learn to live with peace in any situation.

There will be pain, sorrow, and struggles. But trust me, everything can happen in peace. Don’t let agony over anything affect you. That’s all. Maybe you’ll grow up reading books, listening to wise people, and developing this thought yourself. But now that I know, I feel it’s better to alarm you because you will go wrong at times and crave peace.

For that, keep a satisfied smile on your face and face everything that comes your way. And soon, you’ll see your day.
